This site is a personal website for publishing games, assets, and technical writing. This page explains how information is collected and used based on the features that are actually active on the site.

Operator and Contact

This site is operated by Hiroya Aramaki / Makihiro.

You can contact the operator through the methods listed on the Contact page. Messages sent through GitHub are also handled in line with this policy.

Information Collected

This site, or the external services used by this site, may process the following information in order to render pages, switch languages, analyze usage, and integrate external services.

• Technical information such as cookie-based identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device information, referrers, visited URLs, access timestamps, screen resolution, and approximate geolocation
• Browser language preferences such as navigator.languages, used to decide the initial display language
• mackysoft-theme and mackysoft-locale stored in localStorage to preserve theme and language preferences
• mackysoft-locale-scroll stored in sessionStorage to restore scroll position after a language switch
• A temporary value stored in sessionStorage so an on-site search submission from the header search can be measured once after navigation within the same tab

If you contact the operator by email or through GitHub, the site may receive your name, email address, account name, subject, message body, and any other information you choose to send.

Purpose of Use

Collected information is used to provide and operate the site, preserve theme and language preferences, analyze usage, improve convenience, respond to abuse or technical issues, and handle inquiries.

Collected information is not used for advertising features or account management.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics 4 uses the Google tag, cookie-based identifiers such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, and related technical data to collect usage information, which Google may process.

In addition to basic page-view measurement, this site measures on-site search submissions, theme switches, language switches, and external link clicks. This may send information such as page URL, referrer URL, page title, screen resolution, search terms submitted through on-site search, UI location, clicked labels, destination URL, target theme, and target locale to Google Analytics 4.

Google signals and advertising personalization features are not used.

External Services

This site is delivered on Cloudflare Workers. When the site is accessed, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request information, and response information for delivery, security, and availability purposes.

This site uses Google Fonts to deliver fonts. When fonts are loaded, the visitor’s browser communicates with Google’s servers.

This site may generate and publish descriptions and cover images at build time based on public GitHub repository and release information. In the current implementation, ordinary page views on the published site do not require the visitor’s browser to fetch those images directly from GitHub-related servers.

Video embeds on game pages use youtube-nocookie.com in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Showing the embedded player or playing the video may still involve communication related to YouTube.

After moving to external sites such as GitHub, X, or Zenn, the policies of those services apply.

Processing by Overseas Service Providers

This site uses services provided by companies located outside Japan, including Google, GitHub, and Cloudflare. Information handled through those services may be processed outside Japan.

Visitor Controls

Visitors can delete or disable cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage through browser settings. Doing so may prevent theme preferences, language preferences, scroll restoration after language switching, or some search submission measurement from working as intended.

If you want to stop information collection by Google Analytics, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on or similar controls provided by Google.
